..really let me down. They started with Halo 4 as if they had boatloads of new stuff to show us and Halo was just the beginning. Except, no that’s entirely wrong. They had nothing after that. The new Splinter Cell looks interesting but is still over the top and not a stealth game anymore. Resident Evil 6 seems to have the same problem with being a survival horror game instead of the action packed blockbuster it is now. Ugh. And don’t get me started on the half hour dedicated to fucking apps and a goddamn browser that I don’t need on my Xbox VIDEO GAME ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM. 

So far I’ve been very let down by both Ubisoft and Sony. I haven’t seen the entire Microsoft conference yet, but I’ve seen the highlights that G4 did with the developers of Dead Island, MW3, Gears, and so on and it seemed pretty solid. I would like to point out that I went absolutely BONKERS when I saw the Halo 4 trailer because….it really caught me off guard. Also, I’d like to point out that I am TOTALLY hyped about the Halo: CE Anniversary being only forty bucks, having online multiplayer, AND firefight. That is just…so much good. So, with that being said, I haven’t even seen Microsoft’s conference yet and I already know I’m more pleased with what they showed. Oh, and I’ll go on and let you know what Nintendo is going to show:

• Mario
• Mario in a sports game
• Mario in space
• Some “new” Zelda game
• Donkey Kong
• Diddy Kong
• Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong fucking
• Not a new Smash Bros. game, because that would be cool
• Epic Knitting Kirby

So yeah. E3 has been a major let down so far. Here’s to hoping that the next few days will make up for it.
